1. Using Candid
By signing up for or using Candid, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 13, you may only use the Services with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Your continued use of Candid means you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally to reflect changes to the Services, legal requirements, or how we operate. Updated Terms will be made available through the app or our website. If you continue using Candid after changes take effect, you are agreeing to the revised Terms.
3. Accounts and Security
When you create an account, you agree to:

- Safeguard your login credentials

- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs through your account

- Attempt to copy, reverse engineer, or extract the source code of the App

We may limit, suspend, or terminate your access if your behavior violates these Terms or negatively affects the platform or other users.
5. Paid Features and Billing
Some parts of Candid require payment. Pricing details, billing cycles, and subscription terms will be clearly presented before purchase. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees and taxes.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in advance. Refunds are issued only when required by Canadian law or as described in our Money-Back Guarantee.
6. Ownership and Rights
All original software, interfaces, designs, features, branding, and learning tools created by Candid are owned by Candid or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Third-party content is owned by the respective rights holders and is not part of Candid’s proprietary materials.
7. External Platforms and Links
Candid may reference or link to third-party websites or services. We do not control and are not responsible for those external platforms, including their content, availability, or policies. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms.
8. Content You Provide
You may submit certain information through the Services, such as learning data, messages, or other materials (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant Candid permission to use it worldwide, without charge, solely for operating, improving, and providing the Services.
You confirm that any content you submit does not violate the rights of others.
9. Limits on Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Candid will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Candid in the six months prior to the claim.
10. Ending Access
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe your use of Candid violates these Terms or applicable law. Once terminated, your right to use the Services ends immediately.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from or related to the Services must be brought before courts located in Canada.
